Community Guidelines

DeshiFace is a place to find your person. Members come from every culture, every faith and every background, and they come here with serious intentions. These guidelines help keep it a respectful, safe place for everyone. Breaking them can lead to a warning, a hidden profile or a permanent ban.

Be yourself

• Use recent photos of yourself only, with your face clearly visible in the first one.
• Be honest about your age, relationship status, intentions and anything else you share.
• One account per person. No profiles for friends, relatives or businesses.
• Families are welcome to help, but the profile must belong to, and be run by, the person looking for a partner.

Be respectful

• Treat every member as you would want your sister, brother or best friend to be treated.
• No hate, slurs or put-downs based on religion, caste, community, ethnicity, skin colour, gender, sexuality, disability or where someone is from.
• No harassment, threats or pressure. If someone isn’t interested, accept it and move on.
• Never pressure anyone about marriage timelines, dowry, conversion or family expectations.

Keep it appropriate

• No nudity, sexual content or sexual messages.
• No violent, graphic or shocking content.
• DeshiFace is for serious relationships. It is not for hook-ups, escorting or any kind of solicitation.

Never ask for money

• Never ask a member for money, gifts, gift cards, cryptocurrency or financial details, for any reason.
• No selling, promoting, recruiting or sharing investment schemes.
• If anyone asks you for money, report them. It is the most common sign of a scam.

Respect privacy

• Don’t share someone’s photos, messages or personal details outside DeshiFace without their consent.
• Family circle is for trusted people only. If you share a chat with your family circle, the other person is always told.

Adults only

You must be 18 or over to use DeshiFace. If you think a member is under 18, please report them straight away.

Report and block

You can report or block anyone from their profile or your chat. Blocking is instant and the other person isn’t told. Our team reviews every report. If you are ever in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
